Movie Review - The Tourist

Title: The Tourist Year Of Release: 2010 Review Date: May 31, 2011 Rating: PG-13 Running time: 98 minutes Box Office Gross: $292,902,012 Site Rating: 3 out of 10 stars "The Tourist" starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, is a film about a spy spooling a tourist into her lies and he willingly going after her. Spoiler Alert: However, the tourist is not what he appears to be on the surface, in his quest to follow her. The film was somewhat entertaining and amusing in part, but bland and unadventurous. Depp and Jolie did not have a significant amount of chemistry on film, despite rumors she was trying to sleep with him, much to his girlfriend’s anger. Their onscreen chemistry was passable, but not spectacular. Jolie had more onscreen chemistry with Brad Pitt in the 2005 film "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" but that was because she was actually having sex with him, whilst he was still married to actress, Jennifer Aniston. Jolie was grinning in that movie something awful and shortly after, the world found out exactly why. According to a former bodyguard of Hollywood couple, actress Angelina Jolie and actor Brad Pitt, sleep in separate beds, in spite of the fact the two put on public displays of affection for the cameras.
Many in Hollywood have stated the relationship between the two, that destroyed his marriage to ex-wife, actress Jennifer Aniston, has greatly fizzled. Pitt's notorious wandering eye has Jolie looking at other men with lust in her eyes (Johnny Depp).
It really appears Aniston was the better match for Pitt, who sadly, is very flighty and fickle. When the lust wears off, people have to face reality regarding their choices. Therefore, people should choose carefully, marry, then stick with their spouses.
