Tata Indica eV2 - Specifications, Features, Reviews and Prices

Tata Indica V2 will now get a face-lift and this new model will be named as Tata Indica eV2, where 'e' stands for economical. This new Tata Indica is named as Indica eV2 after it seems to give a mileage of 25 kmpl, thus making it the most fuel efficient hatchback in its B+ segment.

This new Tata Indica eV2 features a 1396cc, CR4 Diesel engine which will develop a maximum power of about 70 Bhp @ 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of about 140 Nm @ 1800 rpm. New Tata Indica eV2, a 5-speed Manual Gear Transmission hatchback contains an Independent Wishbone, Semi-trailing Arm suspension in it.

The base model of Tata Indica eV2 has been priced at Rs.3.99 lakhs, but it lacks power steering, power window and AC. It also features a Front Disk Brake as well as a Rear Drum Brake. This new Tata Indica eV2 provides spacious interiors, price seems to be much affordable and spares seems to get cheapily. The drawbacks seems to be poor build quality and lacks refinement.

This new Tata Indica eV2 will be available in four different variants : Tata Indica eV2 L, Tata Indica eV2 LS, Tata Indica eV2 LE and Tata Indica eV2 LX.

2011 Tata Safari Merlin in India - Specifications, Features and Prices

Tata Motors are coming with the new Tata Safari Merlin, which consists of the 2.2 Litre DiCOR engine with the dual-mass flywheel and the upgraded G76-Mark II gearbox. This new Tata Safari Merlin, which can also be called as new Tata Safari 2011 will be the second product, after Tata Aria, to be based on Tata’s all-new X2 platform.

This new 2011 Tata Safari Merlin features a 2179cc, DOHC, VTT, DiCOR Diesel engine which develops a maximum power of about 140 Bhp @ 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of about 320 Nm @ 1700 rpm. This new Tata Safari Merlin, a SUV in the D segment, also features 5-Speed Manual Gear transmissions. This new Tata Safari Merlin features a Ventilated Brake at the front and a Disk Brake at the rear.

This new 2011 Tata Safari Merlin comes with Ind Double Wishbone with Torsion bar Suspension and also it will come with all the electronic safety kits such as ABS, EBD and ESP and will sport a selectable 4x4 mode for better off-road drives. This new SUV, Tata Safari Merlin comes with a tyre size of 235/70 R16 105S.

This new SUV, 2011 Tata Safari Merlin is expected to be launched by August 2011 and might have a price tag of around Rs 14 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

Tata Indica Vista is one of the most popular as well as top selling Hatchback model in the Indian automobile field. Tata Motors are now all set to launch a new version of this new Tata Indica Vista, named as Tata Indica Vista 90, which will have the engine of Punto 90Hp under the hood of Indica Vista for the very time.


This new Tata Indica Vista 90, latest Hatchback in the B+ segment features a 1368cc, 16 Valve, DOHC, FIRE Petrol engine which will develop a maximum power of about 90 Bhp @ 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of about 116 Nm @ 4750 rpm. New Tata Indica Vista 90, a 5-speed Manual Transmission Hatchback contains an Independent McPherson Strut/Semi indepedent coil suspension in it.

This new Tata Indica Vista 90 is expected to give a mileage of around 11.00 kmpl in the cities and around 14.00 kmpl in the highways. This new hatchback is also expected to have a top-speed of around 155 km/hr. Also, this new hatchback, Tata Indica Vista 90 is expected to take a maximum of 5.80 secs to accelerate from 0-60 and about 13.80 secs from 0-100.

New Tata Indica Vista 90 has come up with some safety features that were not in the previous Indica models and they are the Dual Front SRS Airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and the EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution). Tata Indica Vista 90 is available in 4 variants : Indica Vista 90 Terra, Indica Vista 90 Aqua, Indica Vista 90 Aura ABS and Indica Vista 90 Aura+.

Tata Motors are all set to introduce the new variant of their much popular Indigo series. This new variant of Tata Indigo, named as Tata Indigo Manza Elan, which is a sedan belonging to the C segment of the Indian automobile field is said to have more features, thus making it into a new higher level than it's previous models.

This new 2011 Tata Indigo Manza Elan will get available in both petrol and diesel variants. New Indigo Manza Elan features a Quadrajet 90, 1.3 Litre, Diesel engine as well as a Safire 90, 1.4 Litre, Petrol engine. The Qudrajet90 diesel engine develops maximum power of 89 Bhp at 4000 rpm with maximum torque of 200 Nm at 1750 rpm whereas the Safire90 petrol engine generates maximum power of 89 Bhp at 6000 rpm with maximum torque of 116 Nm at 4750 rpm.

The petrol variant of 2011 Tata Indigo Manza Elan, Safire90 is expected to give around 10-11 kmpl mileage in cities and around 13-14 kmpl on the highways. Similarly, the diesel variant of 2011 Tata Indigo Manza Elan, Qudrajet90 is expected to give around 12-13 kmpl mileage in cities and around 14-15 kmpl on the highways.

The pricing of the new Tata Manza series will start from Rs. 5.14 lakhs for the Safire petrol range and from Rs. 5.91 lakhs for the Quadrajet diesel range (ex-showroom, Delhi).
