Suge Knight Arrested Again

    Suge Knight

Los Angeles street gang member and former Death Row Records "gansta rap" mogul, Suge Knight, 45, has been arrested in California on weapons charges, accused of pointing a gun at another man and driving on a suspended license. He was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department. Knight is proclaiming innocence in the matter.

Knight has had a number of run-ins with the authorities, which include assault, battery, tax evasion and weapons charges. Knight, a member of the Bloods street gang, was also suspected of ordering the murder of a police officer that began having an affair with his wife during their separation. The Los Angeles police officer was gunned down in the driveway of the Hollywood mansion Knight used to share with his wife.

    The Notorious B.I.G.

When someone orders a hit in the entertainment industry, it often involves making music or movies. Not so with Knight. He is the prime suspect blamed for ordering the hit that killed New York rapper, the Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace.

During his reign at Death Row Records, which was swindled from producer, Dr. Dre, born Andre Young, Knight was accused of a number of assaults against artists, executives and a music engineer. He also assaulted Miami rapper Vanilla Ice, physically forcing him to relinquish $4,000,000 in music publishing royalties.

    Kanye West

Knight is currently embroiled in a civil suit, which he filed against Chicago rapper, Kanye West. Knight showed up uninvited to a party on Miami Beach at the Shore Club, hosted by West and was shot on the premises by an unknown assailant.

Legally, Knight can sue for being injured on the club via a gunshot, invoking inadequate security in his claims. However, Knight's violent rap sheet could throw a wrench into the proceedings, if introduced into the case by the defendant.

    The Shore Club

If defendant West can successfully prove Knight was uninvited and it should be easily demonstrable that a certain element of violence follows him, the case will prove unsuccessful for Knight. They will simply claim Knight forced his way in through intimidation and brought that element to the club with him, via one of his ongoing industry feuds, where he has violently attacked others.

Knight has had so many brushes with death. It is time he changed his ways and became a better human being in the Lord's sight. These chances at redemption will not go on indefinitely.
